Not at all, they don't add any "new buttons" to your computer, they just work as proxy keyboard keys.

Which is really fucking lame if you ask me, I think they should be independent buttons, like a USB controller that gets recognized by an emulator/game and you can assign things to it without messing with your keyboard.

But this would reduce compatibility, as each different program would have to be compatible with the controllers, so devs and manufacturers don't want to deal with it.

I've thought about getting one of these, but these thing seem kinda redundant. I dunno if they can be used for other programs, but I've mostly seen people use them for Procreate. And most of the people who use it for procreate, usually only use it cause they're too lazy to learn its shortcuts, which are very easy to learn, and are very intuitive already with the program.

though i have used it and its kinda shit, i use my ps4 controller to take pictures without needing to push the actual button the screen, you know so you can pose and stuff away from the actual ipad

ive tried, but my Ipad doesn't seem to recognize/pick up the switch on bluetooth.

Not to mention, that software probably isn't compatible with iOS, but i could be wrong though since it looks like it was made by a japanese programmer and they are notorious apple fags

can't you use a Bluetooth numpad and remap shortcuts?
ive seen japanese artists doing that, they only cost like $10

from my own experiments, you can bluetooth a controller to ipad, but you can't manually assign what each button does, so you kinda have to open procreate and pray theres an undo button somewhere but truth be told

Nigga just get a mechanical number pad and switch out the key caps with whatever custom ones you want. Literally did this shit and it was the best decision I ever made.

I'm still using the same Nostromo n52 I bought ages ago.
Why won't they just copy that? Sure the drivers and software would take effort and cost but it's much better than any of these options.
