IF YOU ARE A /BEG/INNER IN ART, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice.
Use this thread instead of making new threads or post in the Drawthread with fundamental exercises.

POST DRAWINGS YOU NEED HELP WITH!

RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
1. screenshot the image and post that instead
2. change camera capture settings to something smaller
3. send to computer and resize in picresize.com

Don't go over your lines so much, you are adding tone and confusing the form which makes it look amateur. Notice how the gestures where you used less line restatements are the most appealing.

Please point me to the best resource for perspective. I can do 2 point perspective with boxes and cubes but the second I apply it to people or environment my brain rewires itself to be retarded. Been struggling with it for a while and it sucks. Perspective made easy helped, but not really enough.
Also I notice I have a problem that when I make character in scenes they look like theyre floating there or just photoshopped in. Is that issue related to poor perspective?
Do I just need to keep grinding 2 point and ill get it eventually?

You can't lean on spears like that though. The left one would fall off and isn't actually holding shit, and the right one would need to support en entire weight with her right arm, that's not the kind of casual pose you make.
Those are poses for leaning on bar counters or other things firmly stuck in the ground.

the 250 boxes burned me out so bad. failure to execute on the suggestion that guy has about spending half your time drawing for fun.

Related general /beg/oid issue: I tend to draw (or paint) exclusively for "practice" and never really make anything. I don't draw recreationally at this point and even absent-minded doodles look like scaled down perspective or shading exercises. Just feels like wasted time, as if by doing enough grinding I'll eventually get good enough that I can stop "practicing" and start "making art". But at the same time it feels like I've lost my creative impulse and don't know where to start without some kind of lesson or exercise structure.

Have you tried actually planning a piece? It sounds so obvious but it’s the key. People have similar problems in a lot of creative fields. Like writing music, always jamming but never finishing songs. Think about something you want to draw,
Do some thumbnail sketches for composition then try to actually draw it to the best of your ability. Finish the drawing. Don’t criticise yourself until it’s finished. The final drawing is then a key for what you need to work on and you can go back to practicing

You're right but it's actually 100% of critical bullshit you recieved so far. You are better of learning by yourself than asking for advice for absolute beginners who will say "too big this", "too small that". Given your ability by the way you draw hands you're not a begginer, being able to draw a hand in that weird postion requires skill.
Critical thinking is not going to lead you nowhere, if you learn by yourself how to criticize your work in a practical way then you'll become a better artist.
The REAL questions you should ask yourself are "does the foreshortening look right?", "how does the contraposto work on the thigh?", "is this the right countour for the boobas", "are my vanishing points in the right place?" etc...

Yeah like that , have pressure sensitivity on for the brush size too just to be sure. I say red because it helps you get the mentality that it’s only a sketch and you can make mistakes, also when it’s time to ink it’s far less visually confusing. For actually inking I think it just takes practice and be sure to have undo hot keyed because it’s very helpful to find that line you want, then just do quick strokes and keep working on new things
I noticed the sketches for the work I finish lately aren’t really a good example to show off, I started leaving them more unfixed and just try to fix what I can when inking
