I tend to try to doodle on sticky notes or my sketch book an hour before bed. On the weekends I plug in my tablet and work on digital. I use to draw on my breaks but due to how much enjoyment I get from drawing at work I tend to lose track of time so I have stopped doing so.
I use to sketch customers as fast as possible when the end of my shift was rolling around and there wasn't much to do.
thanks to corona I havnt had much free time since they upped my work load, and then kicked me out of my old dept, due to the company trying to recoop losses from when they uncapped our overtime and temporarily gave us hero pay for 3 months. It sucks shit and every day I regret that I didn't go to college. I could be sitting pretty with the 2k neetbux for a year like most normies.
I'm a kroger employee btw, and yes before you ask I'm absolutely /beg/tier.

Genuinely interested in one of your sketches anon. I am beg as well and won't laugh or anything like that or even seriously critique it.

I just completely neglect sleep and social life. Four hours of sleep a day.

>> No.5137874

I made it so I wake up early and draw before work and when I get home I doodle and have fun with stuff and maybe if I'm too tired just watch something but I don't feel bad cause I already drew for several hours before work.
And I also try get as many 3 day weekends as I can lol

>> No.5137899

I draw a couple of sketches or focus on particular things until it's time to go to bed. On the weekends, though, I have more time so I can take it slower. Same as the anon above, I used to draw at work but I ended up wasting too much time and feared being called out for it.

>How are you going to escape wage slavery?
You don't. You embrace having a job even if it's not related to art so if your career as an artist tanks you still have an established way to substain yourself.

Putting all your eggs in an art career basket is very risky unless you're somewhat talented or already have a customer base.

I'm phonepostibg at work so I don't have any of my recent stuff.
I didn't get very far in fundies and this is kind of an old image. I mostly just draw for fun.
I draw people from a video game I play, like their characters.

its almost unbelievable how little i have worked over the past year
still going to tell the new generations how hard it was during a LITERAL pandemic though and that they have it easy

>> No.5138291

I work from home at the moment and usually work 10 AM - 7 PM, so I just sketch or work a few hours on a piece at night before bed, I usually stay up til 1-2 AM so that’s plenty of time to do whatever.

I can usually fit in a few hours or so of drawing each night, unfortunately to do that I have to cut into my sleeping time. As a result I'm tired like 80% of the time and not really receptive to learning anything new or getting out of my comfort zone.
My plan for "escaping" wage slavery is to increase my salary to the point where I can afford to drop 8-14 hours and still live. I'm also looking at creating designs for websites like Redbubble to generate a bit of passive income.

>go to gym for 1 hour
> eat my meal prepped meal for 15 minutes and a proteïne shake

from there on out I put on a twitch stream or other background noise and draw for at least 30 but usually an hour or so.

For meals I shop near work and buy stuff for the day or the weekend. I usually take Wednesday off for drawing. That schedule is ideal but It can get broken by work or life emergencies.

I wish I was GMI, my progress is quite bad and at the current pace I'm NGMI. I plan to quit my job later this year and go full in with my savings and try to catch up. I get asked for comms on the regular and have done a few but unless I manage to actually git gud I would be making less than min wage since I'm too slow.

1 hour concentrated study in the morning and 1 hour easy going study in the evening, I try to do one type of a study per week or a month so like if i'm doing value studies I'm doing them for a month instead of doing frantic shit where I switch from one type of study to another, I also try to allign studies with the type of work I get the most right now or the weakest parts of my skills
6 hours for commissions on week days and I spend saturday fully to do art that I want for myself
luckily drawing and painting is also fun as fuck so you can sketch and fuck around inbetween
I try to rest on sundays fully, it also helps absorb knowledge more

It‘s called time management, even if you work 10 hours a day you can draw enough and do other stuff. Just learn how to use your time efficently

>> No.5139417

>>5137727
It's really not difficult unless you have kids. All you need is discipline. Decide the time frame for drawing in your daily schedule and stick to it. There's no real secret to this, only your will.
