I usually do studies or some figure drawing. The studies are very miscellaneous, could be sharks, motorcycles, plants, birds, whatever. I also don't find it very hard to scribble down some small doodles to get the creative juices flowing a bit

put down some random scribbles. use it as a rorshach test and draw what you see in the scribbles.

he has another thing method later in same vid: put down literally anything, then draw the opposite, then draw the opposite of that, and so on. if you drew a stickman the opposite could be a balloon man, the opposite of that could be a stone man. etc.
