Thanks for all the feedback. I've not done as much lately with my laptop being broken for a couple weeks, and even before that I mostly just post in houses now.
I'm glad people like my drawings too, I've been working on that a lot since line stuff has always been my weakest skill. I could post my sketches and stuff more often I guess if people want me to be more active on the site.
And I def agree with needing to do more finished stuff, I leave things unfinished and move onto the next idea way too often.

More construction defiantly, he lacks a good foundation and is just kind of floating around. Understanding the underlying structure/planes of what hes drawing and just general mileage with his tools, looking at where he's at. He should look into drawing primitives and drawing them well while training his general hand eye coordination. He could go as far as doing some simple grayscales too, but he should focus on building himself up strong instead of jumping ahead so soon.

I'm unsure if he actually loves making art or likes the idea of making art because of how preoccupied he is with other things and is constantly hitting slumps. If he was as dedicated as he is to his persona he could begin advancing his art alot quicker.

Interesting. I actually did grind drawabox when starting, but it bored me to tears and I quit after the cylinder challenge. On the subject of advancing, I do seek a decent level of 'mastery', but my immediate goals consist mainly of quality figure drawing and decent drapery, so I shall continue working on that, as well as doing more original works as I've just now started doing. I'll try and 'feel the form' more since I feel like I'm nearly out of the depths of beginner hell. I do confess that I often only go for moderate effort in my work, though I try to leave the comfort zone as often as possible. I do enjoy the act of drawing and I feel as if I'm heading in the right 'direction' with my 'path' lining up nicely.

i have chronic shoulder pain and last time i went to the doc they just handed me a list of basic shoulder stretches, the ones where you push against a wall helped me the most as well with just doing arm windmills, also just remember to keep decent posture when sitting and taking breaks and walking around every ~30min

Nice porn, there was a 69 piece he did ages ago that I really liked and some other good ones. It's good to see all the painting studies and paying attention to how light hits forms, I think a good focus would be more material/texture studies though and applying them to imagination stuff. The long thick fur on a wolf looks pretty different to the short fluff on a deer or or a dog for example, and otters or birds or whatever have different material feels too. At the moment the dicks usually have a different material feel of more shiny and or wet skin which is good but we need that attention to other parts too. Making hair vs fur vs skin vs fabrics more obviously different and focusing on how they FEEL as well as the technical stuff like lighting would increase his level overall I think.

Well, I think it should be considered case by case, but generally I'd expect to see most noticeable improvements among beginners. If there's none in a year and they were putting in honest effort, then I'd start getting worried.
For example Jerry, a beginner, was drawing almost daily for few years without any improvement. I would love to see him draw more for fun, but I'd also say he shouldn't treat this hobby seriously or to stress over streaks.
On the other hand VuSta's current DAIB looks worse than what he submitted a year ago. But I think he still has plenty of potential and talent to make it, because he improved in areas that aren't so noticeable (like getting faster).
