This. /lsg/ is way too overspecialized, for one thing. Loli is a niche subset of the anime art genre. The furry general at least is it's own distinct genre and there's actually a lot worth discussing on the topics of animal anatomy and how to anthropomorphize and stylize it effectively. /lsg/ is literally just drawing children in the anime style. This is what you're taught in Hampton / Loomis etc. but they all assume that you have a basic perception of shapes, which you (like me) don't. You first have to learn how to see shapes without interference from your analytical/categorizing thinking before you can reconstruct your visual vocabulary.

Even if an artist doesn't openly advertise commissions, send them an email or something anyway. At least to see if they're interested or plan to open them anytime soon. Many artists don't have them open purely because they're not sure if there would be any interest at all. Worst that can happen is they'll ignore you or say no. Not him, but it depends on the person. For some, their standards just rise, which I don't consider a bad thing. There will be some aspects of art, as you grow as an artist, you will notice people still doing in their art. As long as you don't let it get to you, most of these little /beg/ fuck ups can be overlooked.
Most of them can be overlooked in general. Speaking as someone that has experienced what you mentioned wit film, it's a different thing entirely. With cinema, there is so much more that simply needs to be right to make sense in the reality it places itself in.
WIth drawings, anything is on the table. There is no absolute right or wrongs in art because art can be anything for anyone.
If you feel like you have a tendency to look at things hyper critically, then maybe it could happen for you. For me, as an example, I can't enjoy erodoujins if there isn't enough "movement" being conveyed. And that's an aspect in my art that I strive to push. But this is just me and everyone else will be different.

I can at least say the film example you presented is different when it comes to drawing. Still present, but different and not nearly as bad. Don't take it to heart or too seriously, and you can overcome it without worry.

I've been drawing for a long time so it's hard to tell, but probably after? My standards naturally grew over time and I'm not sure if it relates to my art and study or not.
Also, I can still appreciate the stillness shown in some erodoujins, but I can't really immerse myself if there isn't any "movement." So it's not that their lesser if they lack it, but they just aren't my preference when it comes to porn. Non-porn wise, I don't mind it too much, but more "movement" is always nice imo.

Check Asanagi's doujins. He applies some pretty good motion and the way he shows weight is really nice. Weight as in, let's say someone grabs a thigh. The thigh will press, sink, and/or squish. Showing this sort of interaction is also a must for me. Keeps me more immersed too. His showing of motion, while sometimes subtle, a little can be all you need. Sometimes doing too much creates too much distracting clutter, and too little doesn't convey enough motion.
He's just one example of many though. I find my best studies tend to be from higher end erodoujin artists like Asanagi because he really has a grasp of what he's doing.
