when i first saw this image a year or two ago i though it was good, now it looks like a fish with a freakishly small detailed nose and huge eyes and lips. cartoony proportions look weird with more detailed rendering. the rendering is not even what i’d call realistic, but realistic proportions are what i think would better serve it. cartoony proportions look better with flat colors.
