I think this is more of a test in sticktoitiveness, people are allowed to drop out for whatever reason, but there's something to be said about the people who aren't giving up just because the prompt doesn't appeal to you, or your piece didn't turn out right.

AlsoI made both the comic challenges a month in advance so people would have time to script, plan and prepare for it if they wanted to. As a non-daily I find it a little difficult that you have to post at a fixed interval rather than having a buffer after whenever you post. e.g. if I submit every other day and I posted on consecutive days, my next streak-mandated submission is set at a certain date instead of one day after my latest submission. I guess I could just hold off submitting until it's required but it's still a bit inconvenient.

How do incorporate more accountability into my drawing schedule?
dad is a good start because I'm compelled to submit everyday, but I want something more direct
e.g. If I make "draw 100 gestures in a day" my goal and fail, then my profile shows up on the dad front page with the title "FAILURE" and everyone is allowed to post mean comments about me.
