I'm looking for a specific artist. He painted pictures very similar to pic related, how he used darkness in ruins to create an eerie feeling. He gets posted on 4chan pretty often, and people always describe how he paints as capturing the feeling you get in a dream where you look at someplace and know that something is off. This picture is similar, but it doesn't have the vague dread that the pictures by the artist I'm looking for have. /r/ is dead, sorry for shitting up your board. I'll post photos and pictures I like to bump the thread, maybe you can use them as references.

Beksinski is really cool, and I have never seen that picture you posted by him yet. Its not the right guy though, his pictures are really similar to the pic in the OP. So similar in fact that the person who painted the OP (Adolf Ziegler) might have even ripped off the mystery artist. I know that someone here will know who I'm talking about, but I can't find him for the life of me.

On a side note, I'm still mad that this is the highest resolution of this picture available on the whole internet.
