Do you agree that the perspective is off in this picture ?

I am not an artist and having a debate over this with someone, I just feel like the front wheel and the one in the back arent aligned at all and it makes the whole thing look weird, I want your opinions on this.

motorcycle's wheel can rotate and don't have to be straight

While the front wheel does not need to be aligned with the rear, it does need to align with the steering handle and is limited to rotating on only one axis. The front wheel in this image does neither.

Yes it's off

But the rest of the bike implies the wheel isn't turned. Infact the way the body overlaps the wheel implies that wheel isn't even able to be turned without popping the tire. On top of that the wheel seems to be floating in space
(there are no forks connecting it to the handle bars)
Poor engineering

You can't pinpoint shit without any straight parallel lines so it passes.

But the wheel looks fucking flat, it's like there's no depth at all to it's surfaces.
The artist probably just couldn't be asked to actually go and do the complex shapes honestly.

go back to /beg/ you fucking mongoloid. The perspective is wrong on the front tire aand it's easy to see.

I'm not redlining it, the OP who has never drawn a day in his life made an accurate enough redline. >>4375131

The artist turned the wheel to avoid drawing the actual hard perspective.
>But the bike isn't leaning
It's shape is so fucking odd and weird you cant say whether its leaning or not it's actually meant to lean. That's how you park a bike and sit on it.

This is a lot of experienced corner cutting.
The artist is obviously lazy as fuck but ge leaves himself a lot of room to make excuses, no straight lines, all shapes are weird etc, he's being lazy the right way.

That's assuming the handlebars are straight, they might be swept for ergonomics or cool looks.

>> No.4375371

the drawing is ok, you're thinking about it the wrong way.

Don't compare the front wheel to the back wheel, or the back of the bike. Compare it to the front end. The wheel doesn't even fit within the fairing/frame correctly. Cut off the back end of the bike and the perspective is still fucked. Try picturing and imaginary set of forks on that wheel to the handlebars, it can't be done without being broken.

The bike is not leaning or only leaning a few degrees, based on the shape of the rear wheel. It's not leaning enough to justify what he did with the front wheel.

>That's assuming the handlebars are straight
That's not the issue. The artist is clearly drawing the front wheel rotated towards the right. The long and short axis of the ellipse are wrong, which is what gives the wheel a crooked look.

If this is how you say the OP shows too much of the back side of the front wheel you are spot on.

I think the most glaring issue isnt the wheel but how the body seems like it is a shot from another camera angle slapped into this one.

Idk. I see what you mean, but it still looks right to me somehow.
Seems like they were going for a fisheye look where the perspective is a little warped, and everything bends towards the center.
