Alright, it's a work in progress and I would say it's going to turn out good, mmm the snake's face doesn't have the right sahe yet but you can leave that for the last minute, focus on finishing the girl first (Riahna or however you spell it I assume), yeah just make it look like she has her attention on something, at this point stop following the reference photo since her eyes had nothing to do with YOUR piece. What I would do for this is pretty extreme, I would white out the eyes, and leave them alone for a couple of days while I work no hte hair and stuff, and as soon as the white is dry, carefully try new pupils with a pencil, maybe she is looking straight at you, maybe she is looking to the side or at the snake.

The sternocleidomastoid is wrongly placed, she is turning to see the viewer and you placed it as if her collarbone was parallel with the viewer's.

Oh shit dude, I almost didn't realize this was one of your paintings. Good on you for actually taking the critiques given to you. You've improved a lot.

On your next painting, map out the features of the face with a light pencil before you put paint to canvas. You tend to draw uneven eyes in particular (apparent here >>4361010) and it's an easy fix. I had the same problem myself and didn't even realize it until someone else pointed it out. Hope I can do the same for you.

This snake could definitely use some work. It looks more like an eel than a snake. I know references are the way to go but if you're not understanding the shape after studying photos, I'd also just look up snake drawing tutorials so you can see the shapes that make up a snake. You drew more of a triangle when it should be more of a flat squoval thing. The body itself looks fine (just needs more refining as far as rendering goes) but it's the head that's really throwing you off here.

I'd consider doing another layer of black on the hair just because it looks a bit faded right now, but that's a style preference more than a critique.

All in all, good job buddy. You're really improving here.

Rendering is great, but her right eye being misaligned with the rest of her face really ruins an otherwise beautiful piece.
If there is one feature you need to get right it's the face, and if there's one facial feature you need to get right it's the eyes. That's literally the first place people are gonna look. Even minor errors on the face will stick out like a sore thumb.

The rendering really does look amazing, but keep in mind that if you don't get the positioning and proportions correct beforehand, all that time spent rendering is just gonna amount to a well polished turd.
