As much as I like showing off my shitty doodles to people, I really want to get better for me. I want to draw the shit I see in my head perfectly or at least to the best of my ability. I have so much I want to draw but my limited skills stop me from doing it.

Popularity scares me, it honestly does, I would hate being known. I guess that comes from my childhood where it was safer to not draw attention to myself.
I just want to draw because that's the only thing I like to do. I am not oppose to having a small following but I feel like if it got too big it might give me too much stress. I only get up to like 300+ followers and then I purge my accounts.

Yes. Art is important to me and making it as an artist is what all my sense of purpose depends on, so getting some validation matters a lot to me. I want people to connect to what I draw on a human level and I want to give someone else what the art I consumed while growing up did to me. I love the act of drawing and I'm fine just drawing but reaching out to other people with my art is equally important.
I would hate to be really popular with like 300 thousand followers where you're forced to think of all your "fans" as a number, I just long to have a bunch of nice people who appreciate my art and maybe gibe moni.

I would trade all my fans for just one person who truly understands me and makes me feel loved.
