I'll be honest, I'm using hampton's book by just copying every drawing he's done in it, since he didnt really give any specific exercises for the reader to do the way keys to drawing, or fun with a penci, or drawabox do. I'm trying to copy what I'm guessing his process was instead of just the lines I see, I'm only about 15-20% through it now though.

In general I have very low line confidence as you can see by how many times I have to draw each stroke. I normally draw digitally so I've been crutching on ctrl+z for an eternity. It's a problem I've had since the start, makes me feel like I have parkinson's or something.

keep at it senpai, there's a lot wrong with it, but here are the biggest things that stick out to me:

Really try to think about the angle you're seeing. If you look at your character's chest, you drew it almost completely straight on. In the reference her chest is titling away from us. Because you drew it straight on, you ended up having to move the shoulder forward, and that's why the front upper-arm looks overly long.

Try to make big, encompassing shapes, instead of little c shapes. On the figures sides, you bulged out the rib-cage, and stomach, and then the skirt, giving 3 bumps on each side, when you could have just simplified it with one big stroke. Look at the figure again, and notice there is almost no bump present, its just an arc— the outer one creates a v, the inner a mirrored c.

On the left calf (our left), you put way too much arc on it, so it looks like her leg is made of jelly.

Overall there's proportion issues, but fixing it is just going to consist of getting better at observation. Also, make sure you stop to look at the WHOLE image sometimes. Get up and stand away from the paper if possible
