Within my /beg/ish skill level I don't have trouble drawing a gender over the other. Though i can say I like drawing muscular men but I'm shit at doing it. I generally fuck up the same body parts on the two genders.

I have a really really hard time drawing female arms. They are either:
>Super thin and stiff, like sticks. They look like they would break if you bent them a bit

Imo, Anime/Toon Females are easier because it’s easier to cheat. Once you draw them enough you’ll probably get what I mean. Anime men are usually more technically demanding in my opinion. Realistic men are harder to draw overall, but female faces are harder than males ones.

I'm probably better at drawing males because that's my aesthetic preference. Not too far behind at drawing females though, just bad at drawing the stick skinny kind. I rarely draw females though, since I don't like the look of girls who aren't skinny, and I suck at drawing those.

I don't find any gender hard to draw because I just trace 3D models.
No one cares how long you spent on loomis construction. All they care about is the finished piece.
Being able to consistently pump several finished illustrations (no shitty messy lines or pseudo-painterly coloring) each week is what it takes to get an audience and become successful. 3D models are the only way to pump out 5 of these in a day.
No rules, just tools.

That is actually a strange question for me. I can't really say that I find drawing a sex harder than the other.
I've drawn more women than men, this I know simply from the fact that there are much more female live models at my atelier than males, and even when I put "male and female" on reference websites, it displays a higher ratio of females due to more refferences in the list I guess.

That being said, I enjoy drawing both. I love how different they are, I think sexual dimorphism is honestly fantastic. If I really need to pick one, then I noticed when I draw from imagination I tend to be more sucessful with men, and I attribute that to the fact that I have a strong sense of proprioception and am quite aware of my own body and anatomy from practicing martial arts and sparring with other men.

I can draw pretty much both genders, but I dislike drawing women for two reasons:
1 - It's boring. To draw an appealing woman you have to put less detail and focus on curves, which ends up rather monotone.
2 - There's no shortage of fucking cunts of either gender complaining about how your drawing of a woman is bad because either it's not sexy or appealing enough or problematic or objectifying or sexist or whatever bullshit.
Normies never get satisfied with anything, and fucking everyone nowadays decided to become a political commentator so you can't get away with drawing anything your way.
