I've been learning Japanese for a few years and my Japanese is good enough for me to understand seinen manga like Houseki no Kuni, learn riichi mahjong by reading tutorials in websites, etc.
Long story short, I think I'd understand a Japanese artbook and I want to learn to draw like the Japanese since Western anime/manga art always looks like shit.
Does anyone know good Japanese books? I tried searching for 漫画 描き方 初心者 on Google and it seems that most results are ads instead of genuine recommendations. I don't know shit about drawing, I don't mind learning fundamentals or whatever before moving on to manga if the Japanese do that too but I want to learn art just like they do.

don't stick to just jp, there are so many incredible resources in english that you're better off reading them natively.

All artists begin with the same things when they start drawing - the fundamentals. They're universal, so it doesn't matter whether they're in English, Japanese or Russian. Take off your weeb glasses and realise that Japanese artists learn the same way as westerners - through observation and deliberate, focused studies of the fundamentals. Just like Japanese, English isn't my native language either (I'm a huehueBRsopademacaco) and yet I always watch movies in English because dubs are shit, always download textbooks in English for college since we are usually supposed to use shitty translations of the English textbooks instead, I browse 4chan instead of our local chans because they are shit and so on. The best resources are honestly all going to be in English until you get to specialized anime books. Even then art books are mostly learned from copying the pictures or understanding what the pictures are trying to convey. Japanese books tend to be much more instructional about right and wrong than English books which just have the illustrations.

That site is kind of review/showcase, not pirated or artbook sharing site. Some one share that as inspiration and I happen to see the other post, so I just post it here (at least I think it's better than the chinese one). It has about 800 jpeg and some storyboard/animation video, my browser can't load everything. If you use IDM, you can choose 'Download all links with IDM' and filter those images (JDownloader is kind of messy, but can too).
