True, people do drop on and off social media on occasion; this did feel different though, I guess just because it was without warning and he seemed very intent on both making it and making a brand for himself in tandem right up until the end.

It's pretty strange that he'd abandon all of his other social media and do something completely innocuous on his largely ignored DA account (under 1,300 page views, 20~ watchers etc.) too. I don't think we can be 100% sure it's even his account-he doesn't link back to it on any of his other accounts or his website I don't think (http://www.volenck.com/).).

The Behance thing is more mysterious though. The plot thickens, maybe he's still out there after all.

That would be true if it was just a random dude but this Volen fellas been working really hard to establish a following. He constantly updated his social media and always posted YouTube videos. He did the hard work and accumulated a fan base already so it’s pretty rare for someone like that to totally disappear without a word. Most at least leave a little note saying they’ll be gone for a while. He probably lost 90% of his viewers now desu.

I don't know think the fan base he accumlated is that much to leave any sort of notice. He only has a couple hundred followers on other social medias besides youtube. He probably just burnt out and decided to step back, not that crazy at all.
