I've been working on dymanic poses lately. The one with the girls is from December 2018. The others are figure scribble practice from a few days ago. I also can do realism if I spend enough time. I know the watermark is unnecessary on the trash but it makes me feel better. /shrug

I don't know what your speed is, but if you need full time income and you are selling em for 5 dollars you probably won't break minimum wage if you draw 3 of those an hour. Don't forget that a part of your time would be consumed by contacting, management, tweaking to specifications, waiting for clients, marketing, and other external things.
Your best bet is to either look for people with very specific fetishes and ask for 50-100 cause they are big moneybags or find a non art related gig just to get the money. The best corse would probably to get some job and try using the rest of your time of day dealing with commissions.

Charge at least double, even if you only need a few minutes per commission.

Try something like
hourly rate* + experience bonus + paypal charges

*be realistic in your estimation, else you're gonna work under minimal wage

So for example if you need 2-3 hours for a full color/ full body character illustration you could charge

30$ (3h) + 5$ (fees) + 10$(exp)= 45$

if you are good you can easily charge 80$ upwards. your art is worth what you make it worth

that said, don't expect anyone to pay big sums if your work is amateurish. but for me i'd rather only get 2 clients that pay decently, than 20 that pay me 5 measly bucks per drawing

don't unsersell yourself, you're hurting the whole art community with it

It might burn you out but between applying for jobs just spend all day doing studies to try making the best weeb art you can. If you can pump out at least one good colored drawing a day, ideally fan art, you'll get more attention.
If you know how to stylize you can also maybe offer Chibis. Easy to draw and cheap if you know how. I know they used to be popular but IDK about now.
