Gradually these children, whose eyes had always been pointed towards the earth never to know the beauty of the sun and sky, begin to identify themselves as a foot, having spent their formative years being raised less by their parents the human beings and more by their parents the pair of disembodied feet.

Footfags are extremely mentally ill victims of child abuse that actually believe they are sentient feet with the rest of the body merely being something stuck to them.
