someone paid me $700 for this oil painting commission. It took a month. If i could do one of these per month I wouldn't have to worry about rent again.

I've done several ocean paintings...I don't really think about anything so much as I try to get the reflection of light on the waves to look correct

this picture would be 10x better if you incorporated the light of the environment. Where shadows face the sky, a soft blue should be present. Where the shadowed planes face the ocean or the sand, respective hues should appear. Skin tones should carry a glow. Shading with black is a nono.
