I'm not the most imaginative anon either. My advice is to spend a day or two (or a few weeks, months, whatever. I still browse and save stuff I like for an ever growing folder in case I need inspiration later) collecting a folder of stuff for inspiration. Art you like, screenshots from movies, whatever. Go through them and just try to come up with something. If you can't, just start drawing from one as reference and now and then you'll accidentally do something that leads it in another direction that you find you actually like.

I found a lot when I was just drawing poses and figures, sometimes I'd get to a point with the mannequin where I wanted to fit it into a scene and things kind of branched from there, even though initially looking at the pose didn't inspire me.

Don't worry, anon. Even people who draw from imagination are taking it from something they've seen before. There's nothing original under the sun.

Unless you're going for shitty postmodern stuff to 'express' yourself, taking cues from elsewhere is important. People don't normally remember things in the way you'd think about when you draw it, you need to draw things a lot before you start looking at and retaining stuff that way. Your mental library will build up over time, but it needs to be developed by actually drawing things.

When did you get your man bun, and why? Did you start putting your hair up recently? Do you think it looks good?

I just can't take anyone seriously who puts their hair in a bun like this. It just seems like the person isn't thinking for themselves, and just following some stupid trendy bullshit that's been really popular for the past three years. I went to my home-town city recently and saw these on like half the guys. I think they look objectively bad on most people, and I just don't understand it.
