because I don't study or learn much of anything. i just draw because its fun, but the flaws irk me sometimes. and i know i should study, but im either out of time or energy

What do I do if I have standards that I am unable to fulfil? I used to enjoy drawing and wouldn't mind a flawed image if I was able to depict what I had in my head, but now I've lost all soul because I've tried to stick to safer options just so I wouldn't fuck up. Where do I go from here?

It's been a week since I finished anything. I downloaded Fallout nv and playing 10 hours daily

Im in the same spot, just know this. Reading and watching tutorials is not enough, you actually have to draw.

Fuck ive been thinking of joining the oikekai whatever bs is called board here on 4chan to draw whatever they want at the time just so i can think of it as homework to do.

Did art class and this guy is super talented at what he does. I'v seen his work and it's fucking impressive compared to everyone else in the class. He doesn't even look at anything he just draws concept art out of his mind for videogames. I'm 20 and he is 23 and I'm worried if I'm running out of time to compete with something like that.
