Be careful when building the map so you don't save the template with a different color mode. Imagine the photoshop file is in CMYK. could be something like that.

I am building the map tile by tile in a photoshop file so it doesn't build up artifacts nor color changes. I'll be uploading the final version once finished, maybe a GIF too!
