How much do you have to change/edit before something is no longer considered a trace/paintover?

Personally I always flip the canvas and make sure none of the pixels align when you overlay it

What are some tricks to photobashing/tracing models so that it looks more natural and hard to find out?

Why is tracing becoming more and more accepted? Every thread there's more and more people defending blatant tracing over photos/3d models as if it's what everyone does.

What's the point of learning from "imagination" when you could save so much time (and it looks infinitely better) tracing a photo or 3D model as a reference?

Is it just crabs trying to keep others down?

How different does your drawing have to be from a reference before others accuse you of tracing?

Is it possible to internalize anatomy and just learn intuitively by tracing? This way you produce work AND study at the same time, instead of grinding boxes endlessly.
