Thank you for your input my man. My first big goal for this year is getting competent at character art in general (specifically I want to get better at dynamic figures, poses that make sense, facial expressions, detailing, hands, explicit NSFW art, general appeal and developing a natural feel for characters in perspective) and get my first 4 digits number on my Twitter account if everything goes well. I've tried studying Hampton for the first 20 or so pages of his book, but at this point I might scrap him and go right for Villpu since he seems to have most of what I am looking for. I still have to come up with a good plan for balancing studies and drawing from imagination tho, and I have serious problems with self-esteem and attention span.
