it's unfortunate. when that thread was posted here, I knew it was already over for them. it doesn't matter if they say, or have ample proof, that they don't condone the behavior. They are tainted by the specter of 4chan and by the few retards that would not have sent anything at all, had it not been brought to their attention.
at best, they will be free from any direct accusation of racism, but they will never enjoy the full growth they could have received had they kept this to instagram or twitter.
No major artist wants to risk visibly supporting a cause that is in anyway connected to this place or, however far removed it is from the artist themselves, the usage of the word Nigger. No one in this era of anti-victim blaming is going to say: "Well, she deserves those comments because she is an art thief".
