I'm a beginner and currently when I try to draw what I really feel motivated to and interested in it turns out ugly which is discouraging. Doing exercises and studies aren't too motivating in and of themselves, feels like soulless work but I realize I need mileage. What do?

Holy shit, he actually did it.
Everything he said at the end of the stream made it seem like it was all a huge mistake, which he'd never bring up again.
