Had tendonitis but now it has mostly gone, my advice.

>If it's actively painful, rest then rest some more
>very, very light grip on the tools
>wrist/thumb braces help
>learn to do every action with your non-dominant hand
>any time you aren't drawing your art hand is resting

Once the pain has mostly subsided
>Do a bloodtest for deficiencies
>Handling phone/mouse is with the non-dominant hand
>Take fish oil
>Improve diet
>Do cardio 3x a week (improves blood flow)
>Pullups
>Stretch if it isn't painful
>DESK ERGONOMICS, YOUR HANDS MUST BE INLINE WITH YOUR WRISTS

Keep fighting the fight, the body heals eventually. It's going to be a long fight though.
