Following the recs, posting on /beg/, reading up, life drawing, copying. Sure, drawing from life is easier, proportions are correct, my visual library is bigger, I can show off on /fit/ how versed and cultured I am, knowing the proper names of muscles and bones, but my goal was always storytelling and that requires drawing from imagination, and that haven't moved an inch.
Loomis, Huston, Vilppu, Robertson, Sketching Manga (of all things), even the memes like Proko, ctrl+paint, Ahmed - I read, I understand the theory, I do the exercises, they look nice, but I want to apply them - I draw shit. Over, and over again.
Either way, I have to be done with drawing now, but fuck me, I had such high hopes for myself when I started.

Yeah, like posting another webcam jpg's gonna do anything. Post a ref, and I'll be back with it tomorrow (it's nearly 1 where I live). I'll trace it with a tablet if I don't find a way to get proper pics by then
