I fucking hate backgrounds but when I see it done well I'm always so impressed. I just watch to be able to draw furniture and buildings and scenery but I can't! i need help!!
I completely fucking hate drawing still life

How do you even use graphics tablets with screens like cintiqs and ipads without wanting to tear your eyes out? I used simple bamboos and intuos for a decade before deciding to try out a screen tablet and HOLY SHIT it was such an inconvenient hassle that I finally had to give up trying to make it work. The amount of cables, the inability to find a comfortable working position, the screen resolution differences fucking up my art programs, all of it sucked my enthusiasm out before I even started drawing.
The biggest issue was having my hand in the way. After working digitally for so long and not having to deal with looking at my hand while drawing, I feel like I lost IQ points trying to draw "normally".
Anons who use screen tablets, how did you get used to them? And how do you protect your eyes?
