thats really solid advice. ironically, what im working on now has very much fallen into those overwritten pratfalls -- so youre right on the money. ive rewritten the first 3 chapters of my current project (a comic outline) about 13 times. Shouldnt have jumped right into such a complicated project headfirst. So right now I'm creating short stories to get some confidence under my belt (picture is from one of those short stories). the good news is that those are coming along fine.
