I'm not a good artist, I'm just learning the basics and trying to get my shit together. That being said, you don't need to be fucking Michael Angelo to look around, and realize that there are 2 kinds of artists: those who work for the entertainment industry as illustrators, concept artists, texture artists, and so on, and those who don't. If you're solo, it's clear as day porn brings 10 times more money / attention than sfw stuff on the same level (no matter the level). If you are hoping to make a living on art, you'd be a retard not to, at the very least, have a porn persona online.

Porn is to art what video games are to programming: if you aren't doing it, you're doing it wrong. Both may do more harm than good, but this is just life. You either play, or you don't, but the rules aren't going to change just for you.
