Say I want to draw cat sitting on a table. I draw a box to represent the table and a circle to represent the cat. Then I fill in the details later. What is this method called?

in moments like these, i am so utterly relieved that i rewrote the rollover script because merciful god, this database cleanup, had i had to do it completely manually... i would either being apologizing frantically while spending hours matching submissions to participation records or just wipe a month's worth of stuff and reset everything and then apologize frantically

that being said; you may dispute an elimination if you have the evidence to back it up; contact me if your seasonal challenge score, inktober elimination or dad elimination is invalid in anyway, because some manual intervention DID happen

Let me make one thing seriously clear since I get pinged about this every week.
I don't have any administrative privileges on the LAS discord beyond managing the technical aspects of the thunderdome and the dad channel.
I don't have the answers about why the discord recruiting link is broken, why you got banned, how to get in, any of that stuff.
My core administrative responsibilities are to broadcast what's going on with the site. The Discord is out of my hands. Please stop messaging me about it.

It's something I have to think about.
To be 100% frank, I really don't care that Pii/Kanji are on the site, and if you're doing low effort bullshit just to save your streak, you're only hurting yourself.

There is a key benefit of the tribunal in that it takes the administrative work of managing site abuses (and I will note, they are extremely minor at the moment) in an automatic manner. We do not have an explicit need for this in the immediate moment, but it is good to be prepared. I will say that for the time being, a lot of the minor indiscretions (something nsfw being marked as safe, egregiously undeserved badges, loli/shota), could probably be handled automatically and silently with a report system, with penalties doled out on deliberate re-offenses or outright general negligence when appropriate. Something like a consistently problematic user, shitposting/low effort, may require me to step in manually if the public complains, which are not easy to objectively get on an imageboard or discord and are poor for policy transparency. A tribunal eases this more subjective process.

It depends on the site's endgame. Are we sticking around as a small community, or do you guys have an ambition of making this the next conceptart.org or something? If that's the case, it will certainly reach a point where I can no longer commit administrative time to the site with regard to handling things on a case-by-case basis. Some have expressed that keeping the community small helps us grow and be able to identify each other and that familiarity is important for creating bonds and checking in with each others' progress. Others want this to blow up and are itching for the chance to advertise the site massively once it is "ready enough".

The truth is, I don't really have a good answer for any of these questions. I have always taken the stance of developing to the desires of the audience I have, and when they are split, it is very uncomfortable for me to make a decision.
