Current progress,
Left was my first design attempt and the middle is me trying to adapt to to the pose on the right used for reference.

some issues i've had, that i hope got sorta right was the left shoulders position on the angle and the twist of the waist into the pelvis.

not sure if it was a perspective problem or a problem between referencing a figure rather than an actual human body.
