Blocked in the shadows. How does the light source feel? I want to nail it down before I add the darkest lights, midtones, highlights, and lightest shadows.

I just use the Real G-Pen in CSP Ex. After I lock in the flats, I usually do one or two rounds around the piece shaping everything up.

Currently looking for a good tool for softer pieces, myself.
