Favorite artists? I really like Robert Longos stuff but I wouldn't want to go the hyper-realism route. If I could, I'd want to create art like pic related. I'll have to go digital, but I'm prepared to put the time in. Coloring isn't really a skill of mine also...I don't think I've ever colored anything I've drawn.

Hello, and thanks in advance, /ic/. Long story short, I want to be able to create artwork similar to pic related. Are there any courses, books, videos, anything helpful online that you guys can reccomend. I wouldn't call myself a beginner, but I'm only good when drawing from reference. This is a habit I'd like to kick as I want to go beyond drawing as a hobby. I'll most definitely have to go digital starting now, everything I've drawn has been in either ink or graphite, so any recommendations on tablets and software would be great. Any courses on coloring would also be fantastic. I realize I'm basically asking to be spoonfed, so even just a starting point would be plenty helpful enough. Thanks again /ic/ and have a good day anyone that stops by this thread ~
