Use a brush that has opacity/size pressure control. You should be able to make very light almost non-existent strokes. This allows you to make light "exploratory" lines. Good for beginners because it allows you to "feel the form". And more importantly explore!

As a /beg/ you don't have a good idea of how thing look yet. So being able to make exploratory lines will make it so you don't have to visualize everything in your head. You'll be able to put some light lines and build on them with heavier strokes.

I was gonna explain how to make a (((BIG SCHNOZ))) look feminine, but after seeing your work I think the brush advice is more helpful!
