At first I thought they had a problem with the "angular" approach I attempted at that point, just something that from gesture study I did in the past, but after some consideration I concluded that its probably kneecap placement.

Its hard to tell because they gave no indication about what they think its wrong with it, and it can be several different things. Its such a small thing it would be good to just have mention something about it, or failing that, provide a red line if hard to articulate using words. The problem with "figure it out yourself" its that its very possible to get "wronger" if you know what I mean, although that sometimes can be pretty funny.

I have been drawing all my life, technically, for at least 20 years. However for most of that time is not a conscientious approach. I have been drawing far longer than being as mediocre as I am.
