If you never hold pencil in your hand and you are persuaded you need TALENT to draw then its good book. Its mega basic and kinda tedious book which focuses more on criticizing USA school system than drawing. But if you can stomach the long text and mega hand holding instructions you will 100% cure symbol drawing. The book can realistically be finished in 5 days and delivers results for complete BEGs and permaBEGs

Nobody answered because your question is very weird. You either have reference and then you simply draw what you see. Or you are constructing and then its question of how to draw cube / cylinder in perspective. Both variants are heavily covered by books in stickies.
