I think I agree with everything you sang. Other major influences for the things I'm spiraling into currently for the end of year 2 are like Lichtenstein plus neo-impressionism pointilism, plus the imagery for the music video for the song "when you die" by MGMT, plus cross hatching colors, and some other bullshit. Like I'm kind of starting to spiral into approaching his style. I could see a fitting end to this first act would be failing to finish muh peasant painters spoof.

Like I'm trying to jump the gun and gonst crash and burn before I finish the actual goal.

But yeah I was thinking about what you're talking about all die while working on all this stacatto strokes stuff today.

I'm thinking I'm going to flee to yurp in January and go back to the Van Gogh museum 2 years later so I can get inspfired and humbled and whatever.

yeah >>3687020 is like a 2 hour drawing I did today on an 8x12 "canvas" on a 8.5x14 piece of paper.

Been pretty good for getting out of a funk. Although wine floozies pisses me off. Wish I did it bigger. And I normally try not to erase, and then I frigged myself into a corner on falling-girls face, then tried to erase, and not it looks dookie.

and Potato eaters is now become the new thing I'm using to motivate working on other stuff out of avoidance of working on potato eaters. Like in year one it was this painting about Trump's hair that I kept putting off working on, to the point where it was like I was spending all my time painting stuff just so I could NOT paint that.
