I always like to put myself on the other side of the deal. Think like the client/fan/random viewer and things such as this becomes obvious. What do you feel when you come across a page that has some bad quality art right on the front page? How do you feel when some artist you follow but don't particularly like keeps uploading lineart studies over and over? Stuff like that.
