Heres my honest critique, and this is coming from someone who is into contemporary art (not anime commission shit):

Don't be quick to dismiss criticisms of 'ugliness' in your work. Your work isn't that unique or ahead of its time.

Your works looks heavily inspired by van gogh, but what van goghs works have (which yours need more of) is a sense of seamless flow between the brushstrokes, the forms, the figure and the background. The brushstrokes and colours seem to grow harmoniously outwards, achieving an interior / exterior harmony which makes his works resonate. Many of your works however, look like a 'van-gogh-filter' that has been applied on top of an image (as oppose to a sense of movement growing within the image). The formal components of your paintings feel disjunctive and imbalanced, it makes some of your stylistic decisions look like either mistakes, or contrived attempts to 'jazz up' up a subject.
