I think the render is good, and colors might be a niche pick, but...
It's a matter of "style". He draws semi-realistic stuff in anime, which makes it one step into the "realistic" realm, as far as cartoons are concerned. If you adopt the semi realistic approach in your craft, it's crucial the anatomy, the gravity, the light sources and the pose are believable.
It doesn't have to be 100% realistic, but at least stylized to a certain degree, in which the realism is stylized/diminished into that kind of language.
His stuff is well rendered but there's more focus on face / eyes, which would be perfectly fine if he tried to be a kuvshinov wannabe like many before, but he's drawing full bodies, naked figures. Believable anatomy is essential to his pieces.
That being said, it's more of a wrong approach he has. He probably runs a patreon, so he just want to cash out at the end of the day, but it will be against him in a few years, when more young, talented and prominent artists will come out of school (or self-training).
This kind of "artist" exists solely in the life-span of coomer requests. As long as the coomer won't be around anymore, the supply becomes useless
Don't take the coomer way, try furry, try some niche shit
>or just try to get good at "anime"
