Keep it small, one art channel, one off-topic channel.
Only add more categories once the need arises, if it's just you and three guys, there's no reason to have 17 categories of still life posting.

Don't assume everyone is on the grind as intensely as you; if anything, people with disciplined studying routines aren't on discord dillydallying, so it has to be an okay server for idle people as well - not people who never draw, but you don't have to push too hard.
If you do challenges, a weekly one should suffice.

More important of all, you have to deal with drama.
A good defense mechanism is to say nigger and make off-hand anti-semitic comments here and there.

Not to be le epic nazi server, but that makes the sensible retards who can't deal with a diverse community stick their heads out of their caves and you can easily spot who to keep on a tight leash or kick out.

Unless you're a faggot yourself, case in which I guess you could just post trans rights at every opportunity until you drive out the normal people.
But there are enough servers like that around, so you don't need to make one.

Few things:
- Useless humanities degree, and you talk about it as if it was a beautiful and figured-out science. Like some homeopathy convert who'll preach snake oil for decades to come;
- Poor writing. If you're ESL it's understandable, but if you're Anglo it signals low levels of curiosity throughout adolescence and underdeveloped lateral thinking, which in turn makes me question how ""passionate"" you actually are about your degree. Sounds more like the average American being leeched by the debt industry;
- Your complete and utter ignorance of how things work around here (or about the mechanics of the Internet per se) . No point in being an "observer" if you don't know which direction to face.

All in all, it's not so different from an artist, who self-indulges into making his hobbies into a career, the difference being you chose Internet Drama as your hobby and it's way less marketable.

You also read like one of those females who ask to be told the truth, then smile and say "have a good day" and attempt to shut down the thoughts afterwards lest anyone notices the cracks in your soul starting to form.
