I'm not the anonymous shit talker with a bone to pick. I'm not hiding anything. The reason I appreciate the concept of wabi sabi and encourage you /beg/ kids to attempt to appreciate it is that it does absolutely alleviate a lot of the anxiety that people may have about getting into painting. It's meditative and reflective and puts you more in touch with the nature of existence. It's a top tier meme.

Failed to explain how that has any bearing though. Refused to acknowledge that I've done like 40 paintings that weren't grids. Which is almost certainly 40 paintings more than you've done.

Actually the original and primary motivation for producing them has been that they're ultimately going to be props to be destroyed or damaged for a series of mock instructional comedy videos that serve as a framework for commentary about the subject matter or the history and backstory of the memes being portrayed. My professional background is in video production and ultimately I'm probably more interested in writing and producing than painting, and painting is part of my attempt to build my own production company around something I enjoy doing.

I don't intend to sell any originals and if I cared about selling to idiots I'd be doing whatever you're into.
