no one said anything about painting, what im saying is when youre drawing a figure and your standards are so low that youre ABLE to color it without thinking to yourself how shit you are and how youd rather want to start again and fix the shittyness, then youre a lost cause, especially when youre mostly drawing to get some complete work, finish something instead of wanting to get somewhere, so fuck you, if youre polishing turds and youre unaware youll never make it.

i dont have high standards but if you present me with something finished and i cringe and you dont, you have the wrong mindset.
