I see your points, but to me, removing a Discord link that's been in the op for over a year feels like a serious enough change that I would not want to take it lightly. I would want to know that there's a clear consensus before taking a step like that, especially given the number of daddies still in that Discord, that alone gives a certain amount of weight to it. If you think that it would help mitigate certain issues, I could tweak it to make it clearer about what steps people need to take when using it as a buffer to the official one, or just put a qualifier next to that Discord link like, "DAD discord (dead)", or "unofficial", something of that nature?

I usually time the creation of new threads so that the new thread bumps the old one onto page 9, which means we're currently 7 threads away from that point. At page 9 there's usually between a half-day to a full-day before the old thread is bumped off, which usually seem like enough time for people to jump threads to me. Was that your concern, or were you hoping make a new thread for other reasons?

I usually try to post the new thread as soon as the thread is going from page 8 to page 9 after the bump limit, since at that point it usually still has a day or so before it's bumped off. I could start trying to make it earlier though if you guys really think that's a good idea, but I'd want to hear more feedback on that first.
