I don't know, it's pretty flat. There is subtle variation in the midtones but not much. It isn't bad (nothing wrong with flat shading, it really shows off good line art) but this isn't what I'd really call rendered.

To answer OP, this is unironic hard round brush color. The tone around the belly is probably the base color, they did some overlay layers or similar and hard brushed the backlight and cast shadow, and then soft brushed some light blue at low opacity to give an impression of the sky kind of casting some blue onto the skin. There are subtle drop shadows from the hair / under the chin that are "wrong" in that they wouldn't exist in the cast shadow - you can chalk them up as ambient occlusion but they're obviously just there to make it read a little better and they work. There is a layer of pink that's been subtly brushed on the elbows, hands, breasts to give it a little skin tone variation - it looks hard round brushed and maybe erased back with a soft brush. The hair is the classic hard round brush highlights with erased wedges to add texture, and overlay to add shadows. Notice the bluish soft sections at the hair tips - this makes it look like the "chunks" of hair are less dense near the ends and that's a great way to make hair look a little softer. The hard round highlights on the breasts, hair, cheek etc. don't correspond to any particular light source and that's fine, they still read to the eye as "gloss".
