This is the kind of stuff I'm into generally. Its Ashley Wood.

Ashley Wood's painting really gave me a knock on the head, like "You're allowed to do that?!" kind of feeling.

The 3 gashes in your pic (1913) were a politically charged attack of an art movement. The recent attack (2018) was because of "historical inaccuracy".

These paintings are huge and awe inspiring, reproductions do not do them justice and it's hard to tell without being there
