Doumo, ultrabeg desu. On the few occasions I do sit down and draw for more than 5 minutes this is what I do. 1. Sketch while the image is on the other monitor. 2. Sketch while the image is in CSP right next to my drawing. 3. Trace. Each of these is done in under 5 min. This time after I moved the trace to the right I tried to put shading on it, because I realized one of my many problems is that I just make a 2D outline of whatever I'm looking at. Is this a retarded way of studying? What the fuck should I be doing?
