I'm still at it. Pretty proud of this one. What's your take, /ic/?

Switch to realism or at least a semi-realistic style. I fucking hate that Loomis book because it starts you off drawing faces which he constructs using tools you haven't been given yet. So your work is either shit tier compared to his, or you just copy what he's doing. Just take a couple of course in more realistic drawing and then go back to the book to learn how to simplify.

Great stuff. Not much I can say at my level. Maybe do more with the hair?

Every day. It motivates me to tackle practice and study after work.

It does. Well done. Only critique is that, in the portrait view, his left eye's a bit out of whack and his nose should be pointed further downwards if we compare it to the full figure.

No detail. No skull. No neck. No depth. What do you need help with?

The last few inking moments are the most terrifying to me. But you gotta live with it like the rest of us anon.

They have learnt how to draw what they see. They also restate a lot of lines. Also also when they want to draw the next line they put their pen on a point they've already drawn even if the line isn't connect. Then they ghost towards the new point they want to start drawing from and draw. They do this for measurement and it's a very good technique.

My work's lopsided even with construction lines. It's a matter of practice.
